1. Acceptance of Risk and Release of Liability
I, the undersigned (“Participant”), wish to engage in activities at Griffin Skate Inn (“the Facility”), including but not limited to roller skating, skate rentals, and use of any other areas or equipment provided by the Facility.
I understand and acknowledge that roller skating and related activities involve certain inherent risks and hazards, including, but not limited to, collisions with other skaters, falls on various surfaces, injuries from equipment or structures, and other accidents that may result in property damage, serious physical injury, emotional distress, or death.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in these activities, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, representatives, successors, and assigns, voluntarily assume all risks associated with roller skating and other activities at the Facility, whether or not they are clearly foreseen.
2. Release and Waiver of All Claims
Release: I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, and personal representatives, hereby fully and forever discharge and release Griffin Skate Inn, its owners, managers, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and insurers (“the Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, or damages (collectively “Claims”) that I may have now or in the future for personal injury, property damage, wrongful death, or other loss arising out of or related to my participation in any activities offered by or associated with the Facility.
Scope: This release includes, without limitation, any Claims arising from the negligence of the Released Parties, to the fullest extent permitted by law, but does not extend to any acts of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
3. Indemnification
I agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all liability, Claims, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs) arising out of or related to my participation in activities at Griffin Skate Inn, or any breach or violation of this agreement by me.
4. Medical Treatment
I understand that, in the event of an injury, the Facility may not be able to provide immediate medical assistance. If necessary, I authorize the Facility and its representatives to seek medical treatment on my behalf, including calling 911 or arranging transportation to a hospital. I release the Released Parties from any liability arising out of any decision to obtain medical treatment for me, and acknowledge that I am responsible for any costs incurred as a result of such treatment.
5. Use of Photographic/Video Likeness
I grant Griffin Skate Inn the right to use my photograph, video image, or likeness for promotional purposes, including on social media, marketing materials, or the Facility’s website, without any financial compensation. If I do not consent, I will provide written notice to the Facility in advance.
6. Compliance with Facility Rules and Instructions
I agree to comply with any posted or stated rules, safety instructions, and guidelines while participating in activities at Griffin Skate Inn. I acknowledge that failure to follow such rules or instructions may result in removal from the premises without a refund.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from this agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Spalding County, Georgia and I consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
